Akhil Reddy Tangirala is a first-year MBA student at Georgia Tech Scheller College of Business with a strong background in software engineering and IT consulting. He is passionate about solving complex business challenges and has led teams in the creation of web applications and outreach to external stakeholders and potential clients. Akhil is skilled in Backbase, Java full stack, and Agile methodologies. Prior to pursuing his MBA, Akhil worked as a Consultant at Capgemini, where he digitized mortgage processes for a top Dutch bank, revamping the customer onboarding experience, increasing customer self-reliance by 70%, and reducing onboarding operational costs by $5 million annually. He also launched critical loan and repayment flows by collaborating with business, engineering, and stakeholders, helping a top Dutch bank to rapidly onboard 200 small and medium businesses affected by the Covid-19 pandemic in 4 weeks. Akhil has experience interacting with stakeholders to elicit project requirements, explaining the scope and benefits of the technology used, and communicating ideas to enhance process efficiency. Akhil holds a Bachelor of Technology in Electronics and Communications Engineering from Sardar Vallabhbhai National Institute of Technology, Surat. He is currently a Graduate Research Assistant at Georgia Tech Scheller College of Business and is interested in pursuing a career in product management or technology consulting. In addition to his technical skills, Akhil is an enthusiastic professional with a strong work ethic and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
